1. Your hosted booking page
Every account gets a public page at certclass.io/classes/your-business. It needs no website and no setup. Find the exact link on the Widget page under Hosted Classes Page, where Copy URL copies it and View Page opens it. Put the link in emails, social posts, flyers, and your Google Business profile.
The page shows:
- Your logo, business name, and the contact email and phone from your company information.
- A List / Calendar toggle. You choose which one visitors see first (see the Default View setting below); they can switch at any time.
- One card per upcoming public class with the title, price, date, time, and location, a Register Now button, and an arrow to the class detail page. If you collect deposits, the card also shows the deposit due at registration and the remaining balance.
- An optional spots-left badge on each card. Once four or more classes are listed, sort buttons appear, and category filter buttons appear when those classes span more than one category.

In calendar view each class sits on its date in a month grid. Visitors move between months, jump back with Today, and click a class to open its detail page. Multi-session classes appear on every session date.

Only public, scheduled classes appear here. Unlisted classes never do, and a class disappears from the page automatically once it is inside the enrollment cutoff window you set (see section 5).
Students can also save the booking page to their phone's home screen, where it gets your logo as the icon and your business name as the label and opens like an app. The taps for iPhone and Android are in adding CertClass to a phone's home screen.
2. The class detail page
Clicking a class title or the arrow on a card opens its detail page at certclass.io/classes/your-business/class-id. It shows the full description, date and time, location, the session schedule for multi-session classes, and any prerequisites, materials included, certification details, and cancellation policy you entered on the class form. Instructor profiles appear when the Show Instructors setting is on. A card on the right shows the price, the deposit if there is one, and the Register Now button, with your contact details underneath.

3. What registering looks like
Register Now opens the registration page for that class. From the booking page and the widget it opens in a new tab, so a visitor never loses your website.
- The top of the page repeats the class name, date, time, location, and price, with the deposit line if you collect deposits.
- The Register for Class form asks for first name, last name, and email (required), plus phone, an SMS opt-in checkbox, date of birth, emergency contact, and notes (all optional). If the class has registration questions, they appear here as required Yes / No choices, and if you added terms and conditions, the student must accept them before continuing.
- The student clicks Register Now. For a class with a price and online payments turned on, a card payment step follows for the full price or the deposit. Free classes and organization-billed classes skip payment entirely.
- An Enrollment Complete! message confirms the class and date, and a confirmation email is sent to the student.

Terms and conditions. To require students to accept your terms (liability, cancellation, and refund policies, for example), open Settings, scroll to Terms & Conditions Management, paste your terms, and save. The registration form then shows a checkbox the student must tick. Saving new wording creates a new version, and every registration from then on uses the latest version.
How the deposit and balance are collected is covered in deposits and paying up front. The confirmation email and reminders are covered in email and SMS communication.
4. When a class is full
When enrollment reaches the class's maximum, the Register Now button turns into Join Waitlist on the booking page, the detail page, the registration page, and the widget. The student enters a name, email, and optional phone number, sees a confirmation, and receives a waitlist email. One email address can join a class's waitlist once.

A waitlist entry does not hold a seat. When a spot opens, because you refunded or removed a student or raised the class maximum, CertClass emails the people at the front of the waitlist a link to register, one email per open seat, and the first to register gets it. You can see and remove waitlist entries on the class page in your dashboard. Working the waitlist is covered in managing students and rosters.
5. The Widget page: settings and preview
Widget in the left-hand menu opens Widget Integration. Most settings here apply to both the widget and your hosted booking page, so you set them once. Theme, Max Classes, and Show Company Title change the embedded widget only. Your hosted page always uses the light layout with your logo and business name. The page has three cards across the top and a live preview underneath.

Widget & Hosted Page Settings:
- Theme: Light or Dark, to match the page the widget sits on.
- Max Classes: 3, 5, 10, or 20 classes. This caps the list view of the embedded widget only. The calendar, and your hosted page, always show every upcoming class.
- Default View: List or Calendar. What visitors see first; they can switch.
- Primary Color: the color of buttons, prices, and icons. Use the swatch or type a hex value such as #8e181d.
- Show Company Title: adds an “Available Classes by Your Business” header above the widget.
- Show Spots Left: shows a spots-left badge on each card. Turn it off if you would rather not advertise a slow class.
- Show Sort & Filter Controls: lets students sort by soonest or A to Z and filter by category. The sort buttons appear once four or more classes are listed; the category filter also needs more than one category in use.
- Show Instructors: shows instructor profiles on the class detail page.
- Close Enrollment Before Class: hides a class from public pages a set number of days before it starts, from no automatic cutoff up to two weeks.
Click Save Settings; the page reloads with the new settings applied to the preview. Reset to Defaults puts every setting back.

The Live Preview at the bottom of the page is the real widget, loaded from your real classes with your saved settings. Try the List / Calendar toggle there to see both views. Open Full Preview opens the same widget on a blank page in a new tab, which is handy for checking it on a phone.

6. Putting the widget on your website
The HTML Embed Code card holds a short snippet. Paste it into your site wherever you want the classes to appear, for example on a Classes or Schedule page.
- Click Copy Embed Code.
- In your website editor, add a custom HTML or code block on the page and paste the snippet. Most website builders have one; if you are not sure where it is, send the snippet to whoever manages your site.
- Publish the page and open it to check that your classes load.
- Back on the Widget page, click I've Embedded the Widget to tick that step off your Getting Started checklist.

On your site, the widget:
- Loads your current public classes every time the page opens, so new classes show up without touching your website again, and full classes switch to Join Waitlist on their own.
- Uses the theme, color, and other settings you saved on the Widget page. Change a setting there and the widget on your site follows.
- Opens the registration page, the class detail page, and the View all classes link in a new tab, so your visitor stays on your site. Payment always happens on the CertClass page, never inside your site's code.
- Fits the width it is given, from a full-page column down to a phone screen.

Hosted page or widget? Use both
Share the hosted page link anywhere a link works: emails, texts, social media, QR codes on flyers. Embed the widget on your own site so visitors who are already there can register without leaving. They show the same classes and use the same settings.
7. Direct registration links for private classes
Every class has its own registration link, which is the registration page with the class already selected. On the admin class page, Copy Registration Link puts it on your clipboard. For a public class it is a shortcut; for an unlisted class it is the only way in, because unlisted classes are hidden from the booking page, the calendar, and the widget.
The link works in an email, a text, a company intranet post, or a QR code at the sign-in table. Registration, questions, and payment behave exactly as they do for a public class. How to mark a class unlisted and share the link is covered in setting up a class: private classes.
